I have also bought from Amazon a PS/2 to USB converter for my old keyboard and mouse (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001FB6WMS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00">amazon link)

The idea is to use the old keyboard and mouse to set-up Raspberry Pi initially, and then use the ethernet connection to have remote access to it.
